Summary from our last Smith Family Reunion Zoom meeting, on Tuesday, February 18,2025.

Our new survey is online.  Information is being collected for the family lineage book and t-shirt sizes. 
Day 1 – Friday, 8/29/2025 Meet and Greet Day!  Holiday Inn Express, Slidell, LA, 3pm arrival time.  1255 Frontage Road, Slidell, LA 70460 Phone: (985)888-1990.  The hotel is confirmed.  You can make your reservations online.  Please go to the Family Reunion website and click on the link “Reserve your Hotel Room Now”. Everyone, please, let’s thank Myrtis and Kaaja for getting our hotel, getting our meeting room and for providing finger foods when we arrive on Friday.  Thank you Myrtis and Kaaja!!! 
Day 2 - Saturday, 8/30/2025 - 1pm to 6pm Lacombe Parks and Recreation/Rec District 4, John Davis Park, 61100 N 12th St, Lacombe, LA 70445. Lunch will be served from 2 to 4 pm. Parents, make sure your children bring their swimsuits on Saturday.  A water slide Bounce House will be provided by Bayou Bouncin, LLC.
Day 3 – Sunday, 8/31/2025 – Brunch 10am to 2pm. Followed by the tour that will go from 2pm to 4pm. Our tour will be hosted by Bobby and Clarence.

- Our menus are based on 125 people.  We have full access to the gym and our meals will be served there.  You will receive your lanyards on Friday at the Holiday Inn Express Everyone will need their lanyards to get their meals and to have access to the bounce house. 

Our meals will be catered, Saturday by Ducres Creoles, (985)774-4941. It is a barbeque style meal. The meal will range from $18.00 to $25.00 per person.  On Sunday the meal will be catered by Tee’s catering (985)265-5425, it is Louisiana or Southern style.  The pricing will be similar per person.  After this meeting, I will complete the contracts.
